1. About Pen Basket
Pen Basket provides digital financial planning and educational tools designed to help users organize debt information, explore repayment strategies, estimate payoff timelines and potential interest costs, and track their progress.
Pen Basket is not a bank, lender, credit repair organization, debt settlement company, investment adviser, financial adviser, law firm, or accounting firm.
We do not lend money, negotiate debts with creditors, make payments to creditors on your behalf, or guarantee any particular financial result.
2. Educational and Planning Purposes Only
The information, calculations, projections, recommendations, and other content provided through Pen Basket are intended for informational, educational, and planning purposes only.
Nothing provided through Pen Basket constitutes individualized financial, investment, legal, tax, credit, or accounting advice.

3. Debt Planner Calculations and Estimates
The Pen Basket Debt Planner generates calculations and projections based on information you provide and assumptions used by the platform.

- Repayment strategies

These results are estimates and are not guarantees.
Actual results may differ because of factors including changes in interest rates, lender calculation methods, fees, late payments, additional charges or purchases, payment timing, compounding methods, changes in minimum payments, and other circumstances outside Pen Basket’s control.
You should verify important payment amounts, balances, due dates, interest charges, and payoff information directly with your lender or creditor.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create a Pen Basket account or purchase a subscription.
By using Pen Basket, you represent that you meet these requirements.
5. Your Account
Certain Pen Basket features require you to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Restricting unauthorized access to your account
- Keeping your account information current
- Activities conducted through your account
Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.

The usefulness and accuracy of your Debt Planner results depend significantly on the information you provide.
You are responsible for entering accurate information about your debts, including applicable balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and other information requested by the platform.
Pen Basket is not responsible for inaccurate projections or recommendations resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly entered information.
7. Subscription Plans
Pen Basket may offer different subscription plans, including Starter and Premium plans.
Features, pricing, limitations, billing periods, and other terms applicable to each subscription may be displayed on our website or during checkout.
We may modify our subscription offerings or pricing from time to time. Any price changes affecting an existing subscription will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any notice requirements that apply.
8. Free Trials
Certain Pen Basket subscription plans may include a free trial.
The duration and specific terms of the applicable free trial will be disclosed when you sign up.
Unless otherwise stated during signup, if you do not cancel your subscription before your free trial ends, your selected paid subscription will begin automatically and the payment method associated with your account may be charged the applicable subscription fee.
It is your responsibility to cancel before the end of the trial if you do not wish to continue with a paid subscription.
Free-trial eligibility may be limited, including to one trial per person, account, payment method, or household, where appropriate.
9. Billing and Automatic Renewal
If you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize Pen Basket and its payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fees and any applicable taxes to your selected payment method.
Unless otherwise stated during checkout, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each applicable billing period until canceled.
Your renewal price and billing frequency will be presented during the subscription process.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method associated with your subscription.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription in accordance with the cancellation options made available through your Pen Basket account or by contacting us through the available support channels.
Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not necessarily result in a refund for amounts already charged.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, you may continue using the applicable paid features through the end of the subscription period for which you have already paid.
11. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once charged, except where otherwise expressly stated by Pen Basket or required by applicable law.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us promptly so that we can review the matter.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be waived.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Pen Basket only for lawful purposes.

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Pen Basket systems or another user’s account
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Services
- Introduce malware, malicious code, or other harmful technology

No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of Pen Basket.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, availability, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability of the Services for your individual financial circumstances, except to the extent such warranties cannot legally be excluded.

You may stop using Pen Basket at any time and may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation provisions above.
Certain provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective after termination.
